How we collect, use, share, and protect your data while delivering Seaforge.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Seaforge collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our sites and products (the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
We update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change and will post the new effective date.

Account information you provide, such as name, email address, password, and company details.
Content you submit to the Services (prompts, files, assets, templates) and any outputs generated by our AI tools.
Usage data such as device information, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and timestamps to secure and improve the Services.
Communications with us, including support requests and marketing preferences.
Billing information processed via our payment partners; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Directly from you when you create an account, use features, submit content, or contact support.
Automatically from your device and browser when you interact with the Services (security and performance logs, cookies, and similar technologies).
From service providers and integrations you choose to connect (e.g., analytics, email delivery, or payment processors) so we can provide the requested functionality.
From public sources where you intentionally make data available for business contact or verification purposes.

Do not submit sensitive personal data (health, biometric, government IDs, or information about children) unless we explicitly request it for a specific feature with clear notice.
Do not upload confidential client data unless you have permission to do so.
If you share sensitive data in error, contact us so we can delete it where feasible.

Operate the core product experiences you request (authenticating you, delivering AI outputs, storing your projects, and sending communications you direct us to send).
Protect the platform (fraud detection, rate limiting, abuse prevention, logging, and enforcing our Terms).
Communicate about your account (security alerts, billing notices, service changes) and, where allowed, send optional product updates you can opt out of.
Measure performance and improve features using aggregated or de-identified analytics where possible.

We send and track emails through delivery partners (such as Mailgun) to route messages, monitor bounces, and detect abuse or spam.
Providers process message content, recipient details, and delivery metadata only to deliver the email, secure the service, and enforce anti-spam rules.
You are responsible for sending only to recipients with a valid consent or other lawful basis, using accurate sender information, and honoring opt-outs promptly.

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services (where those interests are not overridden by your rights).
When required by law, we rely on your consent—for example, for certain marketing communications or optional cookies.

Service providers that help us operate the Services (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, email delivery, and payment processing) under confidentiality and security obligations.
Professional advisors and auditors under appropriate confidentiality.
If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will provide notice and continue to protect personal data in line with this policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and measure performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
Optional analytics or ad cookies are only used if you allow them; essential cookies are required to run the site.
Most browsers do not yet honor “Do Not Track” signals consistently; we rely on your in-product cookie choice instead.

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We may de-identify or aggregate data for analytics and product improvement after it is no longer needed in identifiable form.

You control how you use outputs created with the Services; keep them subject to applicable law and our Terms of Service.
We do not claim ownership of your outputs, but we may process them to deliver features, prevent abuse, and improve quality.
If certain regions or partners require limits on use, those limits will be stated in the relevant feature or Terms.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No system is fully secure; please use strong, unique passwords and enable available security controls.
If we learn of a security breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws.

You can access, update, or delete certain account information in your settings or by contacting us.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly. Transactional and service emails will still be delivered.
Depending on your location (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data. We will honor verified requests as required by law.

We operate in the United States and may transfer data to service providers in other countries. We use reasonable safeguards, such as contractual commitments, to protect personal data during cross-border transfers.
By using the Services, you understand your data may be processed in the U.S. even if you reside elsewhere, subject to these safeguards.

If you follow links to third-party sites or enable integrations, their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services.
We require our subprocessors and vendors to meet security and privacy standards appropriate for the data they handle.
If you connect an integration (for example, social or analytics tools), you authorize us to receive and process the data that integration shares so we can deliver the requested feature.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link; we will still send transactional or service messages.
Where required, we only use optional analytics/advertising cookies if you opt in via the on-site consent prompt.
We do not sell your personal data.

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (often 18) should only use the Services with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted with an updated date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
